About Us
WJ Scarlett is one of Northern Ireland’s leading independent builders merchants, supplying commercial and industrial businesses, and private vendors for almost 100 years.
Since 1934, WJ Scarlett has been an independent, family run builders merchant in Northern Ireland. Based in Ballyclare, three generations of WJ Scarlett have been meeting customers’ unique needs and requirements with a wide range of high-quality building services. Providing wholesale and a huge supply of goods and specialist services, no project is too big or too small.
What we Do
Timber
Our timber yard has top quality, sustainable lumber for construction, landscaping and decoration. Cutting, planing and some treatments are carried out onsite by our timber specialists and we offer delivery to your chosen location.
Masonry
We offer a huge range of masonry products, facing bricks, concrete blocks, cement bags, flagstones, paving stones, wall rendering, roof tiles and slates. All of our masonry products are available in various qualities for delivery to your site. We also stock top quality masonry products from Tobermore Paving.
Interiors
Interior doors, solid wood and hollow core, flooring from Kainols, Kronotex, Phloor, Whiteriver and Wiparqueand installed by our recommended fitters, and hardware, for any interior project. WJ Scarlett now has a great range of wood burning stoves, from top brands such as; ATC, Bilberry, Henley, Amazon Stoves and Mourne, fully installed by our experts. We also offer a FREE call out service with valuation and quote for our wood burning stoves.
